About Phobias

Some sufferers develop phobias through learnt behaviour, e.g. through their parents or a past experience.  Other times it appears that the phobia has been born from nothing and is then reinforced by the fear of the possibility of experiencing that fear. A phobia is an irrational fear with the feeling of not being able to override the panic that will be experienced.  Some sufferers will continue with their life but experiencing uncontrollable anxiety; others will alter their life in some way to avoid the fear.  Either way it will disrupt lives and stop people enjoying every aspect of their life and exploration of new and exciting experiences. It doesn’t have to be this way, can get rid of your phobia.
